ABOUT

TPSGMUN 2025

Model United Nations(MUN) is an educational simulation and/or academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. TPSGMUN is the first chapter of MUN and is an inter-institution conference. TPSGMUN believes in democratising the availability of the Model United Nations experience to engage all participants in the collaborative process of problem-solving and consensus building.

At Tagore Public School Gurugram, we proudly continue this tradition through our flagship event, TPSG MUN ’25. Our commitment is to connect students with the foundational values of the UN and the pressing issues of our time. TPSGMUN serves as a vital educational platform where students can explore the principles of international diplomacy, engage in substantive debate, and gain insights into the workings of global governance.

TPSG MUN ’25 delves into the intricate challenges presented by current global dynamics. Looking ahead, potential challenges encompass climate change, economic disparities, and political instability. In navigating this intricate terrain, the concept of Positive Peace emerges as a guiding principle, emphasizing the necessity to cultivate stronger institutions, foster openness, and promote mutual respect on a global scale.

The Tagore Public School Model United Nations TPSG MUN ’25 serves as a vital platform for examining and proposing solutions, embodying the theme of “Unification” through informed discourse and diplomatic initiatives.

TAGORE PUBLIC SCHOOL, GURUGRAM

Dear Delegates, Organizers, and Distinguished Guests,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to the Model United Nations conference at Tagore Public School.
MUN has always been a hallmark of critical thinking, diplomacy, and global awareness, and this year is no exception.
In a world where collaboration and understanding across borders are more important than ever, I am proud to see young minds like yours engaged in debates, discussions, and the pursuit of solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing our world today. The skills you develop here—negotiation, public speaking, research, and empathy—are not just important in diplomacy, but in every aspect of life.
As future leaders, you hold the potential to shape the world for the better. The decisions you make, the perspectives you adopt, and the ideas you exchange during this event can be the beginning of real change.
I would like to congratulate the organizing team, teachers, and students who have worked tirelessly to make this event a success. To the delegates, I encourage you to engage fully, challenge yourselves, and, most importantly, enjoy the experience. Remember, the MUN is not just about winning awards but about growing as individuals and leaders. I wish you all the very best for the conference ahead.

Warm Regards,

MADHU CHAUHAN
